Presentation of cheques from the Zetland Masonic Lodge and St John's Chapter to Thornhill Parish in sponsoring the repair and upgrading of the church clock. The money was presented to Tower Captain Gary Rawson in Memory of Tony Ridley one of whose tasks was to re-set the clock every time we had a power cut. Gary Rawson made a speech recalling the high regard the ringers had for Tony. Members of his family, including Christine and Ruth, and of the church were present.
The church wishes to express thanks for the money donated.
